CARSON on HANNITY: Every American Can Help ‘Bend the Coronavirus Curve’

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.03.20

Dr. Ben Carson spoke with Sean Hannity Thursday night on the country’s ongoing efforts to help fight the Coronavirus; saying each American has a “significant role to play” in saving lives during the outbreak.

“Dr. Carson, let’s talk specifically about the mitigation efforts, the testing, masks… Do you feel we’ll have enough as we need it?” asked Hannity.

“We have ramped up incredibly fast, recognizing no one anticipated we’re going to be having this kind of pandemic in the country,” said Dr. Carson. “FEMA has been called to lead the effort, we’ve used the incredible resources of the military.”

“The message that’s so important is that each one of us can play a significant role in helping to bend that curve down,” he added.

BERNIE on CORONAVIRUS: ‘Casualties May Be Even Higher Than What Armed Forces Experienced in WW II’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.13.20

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders weighed-in on the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak across the United States this week; telling reporters the “casualties” could be higher than what “the Armed Forces experienced” in the Second World War.

“In terms of potential deaths…the crisis we face is on a scale of a major war…we also have to face the truth and that is that the number of casualties may actually be even higher than what the armed forces experienced in World War II,” said Sanders during a press briefing on the virus.

President Trump addressed the nation from the Oval Office Wednesday night; saying it’s time for the American people to unify and combat the Coronavirus outbreak as “one family.”

“No nation is more prepared or more resilient than the United States. We have the best healthcare anywhere in the world. We are all in this together. We must put politics aside, stop the partisanship and unify together as one nation and one family,” said the President.

“History has proven time and time again, Americans always rise to the challenge and overcome adversity. Our future remains brighter than anyone can imagine,” he added.

The global Coronavirus outbreak continued to have a major impact on the American economy and sporting world Thursday; with A-list actor Tom Hanks testing positive for the disease and the NBA suspending its entire season until further notice.

“Actor Tom Hanks, his wife Rita Wilson, they have tested positive for Coronavirus. They are in our prayers tonight,” said Hannity.

The President addressing the American public from the Oval Office Wednesday night; unveiling a series of new travel restrictions for all of Europe excluding the United Kingdom.

The 30-day ban starts Friday at midnight and applies to: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland, and excludes the United Kingdom and Ireland.

“This is the most aggressive and comprehensive effort to confront a foreign virus in modern history,” Trump said in an address to the nation. “I am confident by counting and continuing to take these measures we will significantly reduce the threat to our citizens and we will ultimately and expeditiously defeat this virus.”

BIDEN on VIRUS: 'What is his responsibility? If the... Allocating Responsibility... I'll Let History Do That'

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.01.20

Former Vice President Joe Biden continued his gaffe-filled campaign Wednesday during an interview on MSNBC; trailing off mid-sentence while discussing Donald Trump and the Coronavirus pandemic.

“What is his responsibility… and if it was… what would the…. Allocating responsibility… I’ll let history do that,” said Biden.

Biden made similar comments in an interview earlier this week.

“In order to avoid those very high numbers we have to do several things. One: We have to depend on what the President is going to do right now. First of all, he has to, tell, wait for all the cases before anything happens. Look, the whole idea is he has to get in place things we’re shortages of,” said Biden.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo weighed-in on the ongoing Coronavirus crisis Tuesday; saying “disinformation is dangerous” during a global pandemic as the Trump administration works to slow the spread of the disease.

“Every morning I wake up and I read the data set from across the world… We’ve had one of our team members pass away from this, we’ve had 3,000 Americans die. This data set matters. The ability to trust the data is everything,” said Secretary Pompeo.

“This is the reason disinformation is dangerous… I would urge every nation: Do your best to collect the data, do your best to share that information,” he added. “We’re doing that. We’re collecting and sharing.”
